Introduction: VerifyShaadi ("we," "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and the subjects of verification.

Data We Collect:

  • From Client: Name, contact details, and information about the "Subject" (the person to be verified).

  • From Subject: Identity documents (Aadhaar, Passport), employment letters, educational certificates (only if consent-based).

How We Use Data:

  • To conduct field and desk investigations.

  • To generate a "Verification Report" shared only with the Client.

Disclosure to Third Parties:

  • We may share data with field investigators or third-party databases (e.g., credit bureaus) solely for verification.

  • We do not sell data to marketing agencies.

Data Retention:

  • Reports are deleted from our servers 30–60 days after delivery to ensure maximum privacy.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism:

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, VerifyShaadi.com has appointed a dedicated Grievance Officer.

Procedure of filing Grievance:

  1. Written Complaint: All grievances must be sent via email or post with a clear subject line: "Privacy Grievance - [Your Name/Case ID]".

  2. Required Information: Please include your full name, contact details, and a clear description of the issue or the specific data record in question.

  3. Timeline: Our Grievance Officer will acknowledge your complaint within 24 to 48 hours. We aim to resolve all legitimate grievances within 30 days of receipt.
