What is deleted

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The details you submitted about the candidate, including date of birth, address, employer and education
• Any Aadhaar or PAN number held against the order, and the masked reference to it
• Every document and screenshot collected as evidence during a check, deleted from storage, not just unlinked
• Your saved preferences and login session

What we have to keep, and why

We would rather tell you this plainly than claim everything disappears.

• The report itself, if one was already delivered to you. You paid for it and it is the record of a decision you may need later.
• The payment record, which the Income Tax Act requires us to keep for eight years. It holds the amount and the date, not the candidate details.
• A log entry saying an account was deleted and when. It carries no personal data and exists so we can prove the deletion happened.

If you want the delivered report destroyed as well, say so in the form and we will do it. It cannot be recovered afterwards, so download it first if you may need it.

How long it takes

We will contact you within 3 working days to confirm it is you, and delete within 7 working days of that. Deletion cannot be undone, and a deleted account cannot be restored even if you contact us the next day.

If a verification is in progress

Deleting your account stops it. Any checks still running are cancelled, and if the candidate has not yet given consent you are refunded in full under our refund policy. If the report has already been delivered, the work is done and there is no refund, but your data is still erased.
